Aztec Chilli Chocolate

Ingredients:

1.5 cups milk
1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1 red chilli pepper, split with seeds removed
1 cinnamon stick, around 8-10cm
40g dark chocolate

Preparation:

Simmer milk in a saucepan with the vanilla bean, cinnamon and chilli. Heat through for about a minute. Whisk in grated chocolate and continue to simmer until melted. Remove from heat and allow to steep for another 10 minutes. Strain out spices and serve.
