I purchased 2 8 cup WAVE coffee maker (La Cafetiere brand) from Target.com in the USA. Both came with the beakers broken. Target did not know where to buy a replacement beaker in the US. so they just refunded me. I still have metal part and would like to know where in the US, I can buy a less fragile beaker to fit. longer filter for 1 litre tea pot

I have purchased a litre glass teapot with filter but because the filter only goes half way down into the pot it is impossible to brew tea for 1 or 2 people. Do you have any longer filters? similar to the bodum model? Sincerely M. Merriman

Home-made coffee ice-cream

To make a delicious coffee ice-cream, I make coffee in my cafetiere using boiling milk instead of water (my recipe uses 7 fl oz of milk, 7 fl oz whipping cream, 4 egg yolks and 150g sugar). After infusing for a few minutes, push down the plunger, and the coffee-flavoured milk is ready to use. Stir together the egg yolks, sugar and coffee-milk in a pan until just thickening, allow to cool, stir in the cream and churn in an ice-cream maker.
