I do not have a tip. I need a tip from you. How do I use my 3-cup coffee pot; i.e. what kind of coffee, how much, and then what. Thanks for your help.

 

Hello Christa:Remove lid and plunger assembly.Add one heaped dessertspoon of ground coffee per normal sized cup.(Check coffee packaging to make sure it is a suitable grind for cafetieres.) Fill beaker,leaving a 2.5cm space at the top, with water just off the boil. Stir with a plastic or wooden spoon. Replace plunger and lid. Stand for at least four minutes. Push plunger down slowly, holding the handle of the cafetiere firmly with the other hand. (Warning: Excessive plunging force could cause the hot coffee to overspill the beaker.) Serve immediately.

I have a question: Are the beakers microwave proof? I occasionally have coffee left over in my cafetieres and have always wondered if I can reheat in microwave Thanks

Do I need a 6cup or 8cup replacement beaker?

Another question rather than a tip. I need a new beaker for our Classic Chrome cafetiere. The chrome frame measures 16.5 cms high and about 9.7 cms diameter. Is the replacement beaker I need a 6cup or an 8cup? Also when are you expecting new stock? Please advise.

Teafusion perfect for Pimms

I use my 1Ltr Teafusion pot for Pimms.

Le Teapot 2 1/2 cup

I do not have a tip either. Someone gave me a Le Teapot 2 1/2 cup. for a gift. No directions are with it. Can you post the direction for hot/cold brewing & care? Thanks

Wobbly coffee

I need help - I love my cafetiere but my small 2 cup version is precarious on my gas cooker - the supports on the cooker only just reach the edges of the pot and I'm sure I'm wasting a lot of heat - have you got a solution? Thanks.

Oven Top?

I put one heaping spoonful of coffee in per drinking cup. Can I put my stainless steel 8 cup press on the oven top? It fits perfectly but there are no directions with it so i am not sure. Thanks Laura
