The Boston Tea Party quite literally...

Having just been to Boston for the wedding of a good friend, I thought I'd share with you one of the more unexpected (and delicious) treats I discovered there. Whilst out for a quiet stroll one afternoon I discovered a tea shop selling tea brewed in hot cider instead of water.

The version I tried, brewed with Earl Grey tea, had a lovely smooth and sweet taste, but there were plenty of other varieties on the list and I'd recommend experimenting to find your own personal concoction. A perfect warmer for the coming chilly Autumn evenings.

For a non-alcoholic version you can simply substitute in apple juice. Perfect for keeping the little ones happy.
