La Cafetière will be showcasing two new concepts by Alison Appleton at the Autumn Fair International, beginning 5th September 2010 at the NEC Birmingham.

La Cafetiere California TeapotDesigned exclusively for La Cafetière by Alison Appleton, the California Fine Bone China Teapot fuses high design and functionality to create a stylish new twist on traditional teapots. Featuring an integral stainless steel infuser basket; the California is suitable for both loose tea and teabags. It has a 1000ml capacity and matching tea cups are available to complete the look.

La Cafetiere LexiAlison Appleton's Lexi cafetiere has simple, clean lines providing a truly elegant coffee experience. Made from Fine Bone China, the Lexi provides up to 900mls of freshly brewed coffee. It also features an innovative leak-proof lid with polished stainless steel accents.

Hi Pam, The Lexi plunger assembly only has three parts: the top metal knob, the main plunger shaft, and the filter. Screw the knob to one end of the shaft and then put that through the lid. Then screw the filter to the other end of the shaft. If it seems difficult to screw together, try changing which end you screw each item to. I took the plunger apart and now can't figure out how to reassemble my Lexi Cafteiere. Please either tell me or share a schematic. Thanks, Pam
