The Collection and Use of Information

What information is collected by La Cafetière

Currently there are no mechanism to collect personally identifiable information from the pages of this website. However, there are email links which, when selected, will open your email client and automatically complete the "To:" field, i.e. the email address of the person you wish to contact via this website. The information you choose to submit via any such email is sent directly from you email software and is, therefore, not connected with this website.

Some La Cafetière web pages use cookies. This is purely to benefit the visitor and to aid navigation. The information stored in the cookie is not used to personally identify visitors..

How La Cafetière uses cookies.

A cookie is a piece of text asking permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. If you agree, then your browser adds the text in a small file. The purpose of a cookie is to help save time when you revisit and download images. Cookies are normally set to expire within 30 days. La Cafetière uses cookie technology to assign and place an identifier unique only to you, placed on your computer 

Some of the La Cafetière web pages use session variables (temporary information held in variables that is available to more than one page), as part of the web navigation for that particular website session only. Examples are storing images in the basket ready for downloading. Session variables are available only to your computer and the La Cafetière server and as soon as you close your browser application, the session is closed and the information destroyed. The La Cafetière navigation and basket system requires enabling cookies.

How La Cafetière uses your information.

La Cafetière will not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share the personal data you provide online with other La Cafetière entities and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf.
